David Cameron made a very convincing speech at TED2010. At the start of the Ted Talk with David Cameron he asked the question "How do we make things better without spending more money?"He was talking about if you believed that the only way of improving was spending more money then you would only measure progress by looking at the improvement of social services. David goes on to state that if you thought that there were other ways of improving well being, like family, friendships, community and environment and coupled that with the amazing information revolution, you could totally remake politics and the government. I fully agree with David and believe that if we focussed less on money and more on things like friendships and community, our general well being would rise. Also, David talks about giving power to the people and understanding the people. I believe with him that with the incredible amount of information with such easy access, if the people have more power they will shape their government around them and improve their own well being. David Cameron has very new ideas and is putting them forward to the people to find the reaction.
